Hello everyone,

This week we have received a lot of rain over the last few weeks. We have also have gotten a lot of wind. The wind was so strong that several trees have been blown over. The weather has been crazy but the weather has been needed for the coming summer because there has been hardly any rain during the summer. But I have been in a car for all of the bad weather so I have been safe.

We went on 2 exchanges this week. 1 with the zone leaders and the other one with the district leader. So it was pretty fun to get to see some of the Sacramento zone. When I was with Elder Pennington we went and work in the Fijian unit. It is pretty cool to because in my current zone there are 8 different languages.

We didn't really spend much time in our area because we were on two exchanges and we were both out of our area for 48 hrs. But it was really cool because I was able to learn a lot of stuff from the other missionary. One thing that I learned was the importance of staying focused in this crazy world. There is a lot things that are going on in the world and when I go to a restaurant and a TV is on with the news I loose focus on what I should be doing. I know why missionaries don't watch TV.

Then transfers are this week so they are holding all of the mail so I won't get any mail until Monday. But that's OK because it will help keep me focused on the work this week.

Hope you all have a great week, oh by the way I will email next Tuesday.

Hello everyone,

This week has truly been a blessing. I was able to be in a mission tour with Elder Rendlund. He truly is a man of God and the spirit that he caries is trying amazing. He talked about how we were all called of God to be mission. Then how President and Sister Jardine were called of God. Then finally he said that the Lord thanks us for out service and that was super cool to here from an Apostle of the Lord. Then he opened up the floor to a Q&A for like 1 hour. That was super cool and he was able to answer a lot of cool questions. Then to finish he finished with an apostolic blessing to all of the missionaries there. Super cool experience.

Then it was cool to be able to some old missionaries that I haven't seen in a while. There are a lot of times where life in the church is a small world. There are a lot of people that know a lot of people and it's cool to see the way that people are connected in the church.

But this week flew by super fast and I can't remember what else happen this week so I hope you have a great week.

Hello everyone,

There has been a lot of rain this week. A lot of people have been asking how the weather has been because there has been a lot of flooding in California. Luckily the flooding has not affected me at
all, but there has been a lot of rain.

This week people can't use the excuse that they will be gone for the holidays. So there has been a lot of success this week. We found a lot of new people to teach so that was a blessing because during
Christmas we didn't really have any. But there are a lot of people in the world that have a lot of interesting stories. It's really cool to get to know people and there story where they are coming from.

Then we have a mission tour this weekend and Elder Rendlund is coming to talk to us. I am super excited about what he has to say and what insight that he has to bring.

Then as a mission we found out who our new mission president will be. It will be President Hymas. From what I have heard he is really cool. He is from Provo, Utah. He sounds like a really great man of God.

Hope you have great week!!

Hello,

Well this was a different week being a missionary. Holidays didn't really seem like holidays. But it was still really good. The members are great out here and did a really great job at making feel like
home.

This week we had an investigator that got a blood infection. The investigator has been in the hospital all week but is good now. It was pretty different being in a hospital. People are a lot more friendly and willing to say hi because they know what we are about doing good and helping making
people lives better. Some time I just wonder why people don't just give you the time of the day when we are not in a hospital. But it is all good because life is good being in the service of our Heavenly Father.

This week was very slow because of the holidays. But the last few weeks just flown by and I don't know where they went. But it was still a really good holiday season. The holiday season really is a great time of the year. I hope that all we will all keep the holiday season up and keeping making the rest of the year great.

Then I went on an exchange with Elder Hallmark. I cant remember what happened on that exchange because things happened so fast.

Well I hope you have a great new year.

Hello and Merry Christmas from California!!

This week truly has been full of a lot of action. From getting to see the Spirit work on so many people and soften their heart to the gospel, to getting to Skype home.

To start I want to talk about an experience that I had while we were biking around and we saw this guy so we went and talked to him. He was not interested in the church but he was very kind to us. We talked abut his beliefs and about what we as Latter Day Saints believe. In all it was a really good contact and in talking with us his heart was softened on his view of Latter Day Saints. It is truly a miracle to see the Spirit work through people in the matter of moments of talking with them. They have bad feeling towards the church, but then they realize that we are not that different to them and what they believe.

Then I was blessed to go on an exchange with an elder by the name of Elder Dougchtery (i think that is how you spell his name). It was a really fun time with him. On the way heading back to exchange we were driving on the free way and his bike fell on the bike rack!!!!! I was so scared that it was going to get run over and totally destroy it and cause a lot of damage to a car or something bad would happen. But luckily nothing bad happen and we were able to get it off the high way and it was not damaged hardly at all.

Hello everyone,

I can't believe that next week is Christmas and I will be skyping home. Time has really flown by and I don't know where it all went. But I know that I am doing the right thing that I am suppose to do.

But on Saturday I was able to go and be a witness at David's baptism. It was the coolest experience. The lord really prepares people and gets them ready for baptism. It was also cool to see all of the old ward members and missionaries in the past ward I was serving in. Hopefully I will get a chance to serve in that ward again sometime over my mission. It would be great to be able to see all of the good friends.

Then this last week has been a lot of meeting members of the church and getting to know them and building a relationship with them so we can have the most effective missionary work as possible.

It's truly the Christmas and along with that comes with the Christmas spirit. I love the Christmas Season and the spirit that comes along with it. But I don't want the feeling to stop at Christmas. I think that this world would be a whole lot better if we carried that spirit in to the next year and helped bless other people.

Sorry I don't have much time to email to day but I hope you all know that I love you all.
