The Call Has Arrived!

Since Payton completed all of his paperwork to serve an LDS mission, his family and friends have anxiously anticipated his call. Customary of waiting for a mission call we chose places where we thought Payton might go.

A few days later while still waiting for Payton's call to come, the map was filling up with locations of potential spots of where Payton could possibly serve.

After weeks and days of waiting for Payton's mission call, it finally came. But before opening the call Payton decided to fake open it without anyone else around (My family wanted to kill him). Payton, Stockton, and Grandma Mary decided to make a fake mission call to the same mission that Stockton went to (Baltimore, Maryland). Payton sent out a group text with a picture of him and his fake call. Luckily Payton only let this go on for about an hour before letting everyone know about his prank.

With much anticipation, family and friends waited eagerly for Payton to open his mission call...

Payton was able to open his call on March 21, 2016

"Dear Elder Berry you have been called to serve and labor in the California Sacramento Mission. You will report to the Provo MTC on June 15, 2016."

For the next two years, Payton will serve the Lord by serving the people of Sacramento, California.
